Aiding the Enemy by Julie Rowe. Published by Carina

Rose Culver became a Red Cross nurse because she wanted to save lives. Now, here in Belgium, 1915, she is helping allied soldiers escape into the Netherlands. Her activities do not go unnoticed. Doctor Herman Geoff becomes aware that Rose is smuggling soldiers, as a German he is torn, he should turn her in; but as a man, his heart belongs to Rose. When she is arrested he will have to choose between his country and the woman he loves.

A beautifully written story of love blooming in the unlikeliest place.
