I liked My Life by Abby Fabiaschi. St. Martin’s

Maddy was a happy stay at home mom and wife – until she killed herself. Her husband and her teen daughter are heartbroken, and Maddy, watching from the “other side”, knows she has to do something to help. She will find a new wife and mother to take her place. Maddy finds the perfect candidate in teacher Rory whom she maneuvers into her daughter’s orbit, not realizing that the teacher is hiding some serious problems of her own. There seem to be a lot of books lately that have a dead or dying woman eager to pick out her replacement, I don’t think I’d be so generous. Regardless, I did enjoy this story that was equal parts pathos and humor
