Life Unexpected by J. A. Stone. Published by Lake Union

Corey Bennet does not deal with grief; she compartmentalizes sorrow and move on. She did not deal with the loss of her parents in a car wreck and she’s tried to work through her husband’s death from cancer. But her anxiety is beginning to show and her boss ends up insisting she take a vacation. Corey heads off for a two week getaway on Florida’s Gulf coast where she reconnects with an old friend and begins to question the path she has followed in life. I liked the idea of this story, it’s almost more one woman’s look back on a life she should have lived differently than an interactive read
