Stalked by Elizabeth Heiter. Published by MIRA

FBI profiler Evelyn Baine is called in when 17 year old cheerleader Haley Cooke disappears from her high school. The girl knew she was in trouble, as evidenced by the note Evelyn has found, “If you’re reading this, I’m already dead”. On the surface it seems no one had any reason to harm Haley, but as Evelyn investigates, she discovers almost everyone in Haley’s life had secrets, secrets the teen was privy to. Evelyn hopes that Haley is still alive, so she has to tread carefully, for fear of angering the kidnapper. If Evelyn can’t put the pieces together, and fast, Haley, will surely be killed. A good, solid mystery enlivened by Evelyn’s character
