Dead Letters by Caite Dolan-Leach. Published by Random House

Ava ran away from her family home, with it’s failing vineyard, her dysfunctional parents and her strange and twisted twin Zelda, to form a new life for herself in Paris. But she’s called home to New York when she receives news that Zelda is dead, supposedly killed in a barn fire at the vineyard. Then Ava starts to get messages – from Zelda. Taunting letters leaving clues for Ave to follow, clues that will lead her to Zelda? Is her twin really playing this sick, twisted game? Ave knows Zelda is capable of almost anything, but this seems extreme, even for her. Ava has no choice but to participate in this bizarre scavenger hunt, not knowing who or what she will find at the end. This is an intricate and twisted story that kept me up into the wee hours so I could uncover the truth. Highly recommended
