Class by Lucinda Rosenfeld. Published by Little, Brown

A forty something woman who has always tried to do the right thing, Karen Kipple works with underprivileged children trying to get them a fair chance in life. Her beliefs are so strong , she enrolls her own daughter in a public school in Brooklyn. The school hasn’t got the best reputation, but when a viscous bully begins terrorizing her daughters class, Karen find me her idealism flying out the window. A satire about the state of public schools and how far we are willing to go to protect our children
