She Stopped for Death by Elizabeth Kane Buzelli. Published by Crooked Lane

In this second Little Library mystery, Jenny Weston and her mom Dora are finding bits of poetry left in the Little Library by the town’s agoraphobic poet, Emily Sutton. Sutton has lived alone with her sister for as long as anyone can remember in a house on the edge of a swamp. Meanwhile, aspiring author Zoe, Dora’s next door neighbor is working on a book about another reclusive poet, Emily Dickinson. It’s not hard for her to make the connections between Dickinson and Emily Sutton as the local poet slowly re-enters the world. Soon there are questions about what’s really happening in the house by the swamp and Zoe and Jenny uncover a murder.  There’s a lot happening in this mystery, as Emily gets even stranger, a woman comes looking for her long-lost poet uncle and Jenny gets another disappointment in her love life. This is a great series with quirky characters and interesting sub plots that supplement the main mystery
