Nell McGraw is a newly widowed mother trying to run her husband’s family’s newspaper. The stories are often tragic, and the latest story of a child decomposing body found in the gulf seems to be the result of a careless mistake. Then another child goes missing. Nell is desperate to find the child and increasingly frustrated at the turf war between the police and sheriff’s department. Things get personal when the killer contacts Nell to tell her that her children will be the next to disappear. Nell must try to work with the warring police agencies and a maniacal killer to save her children.
