Naomi Roth, a one time radical student, is now the first female president of  renowned Webster College. When students get upset that a favorites professor has been denied tenure, they protest by setting up an encampment, similar to the Occupy movement. Naomi isn’t too worried, even though her own daughter is involved. She believes the students are expressing their freedom to organize. When the group’s leader emerges as a Palestinian student,  escalating incidents of vandalism on campus terrify both the students and the faculty.  I think the idea behind this story is excellent, I just didn’t feel like it really ever got off the ground and I had a hard time connecting with the characters
