Still Death by Tim Hoy. Published by Alibi

A serial killer with a liking for young blonde women has struck fear into the hearts of Londoners. DI Tessa Grantley is looking for a way to relax after another day with no leads when she bumps into artist Alec Hanay, literally. The two strike up a friendship/budding romance and he invites her to a showing of his work. While there, she realizes that Alec has painted portraits of all the dead women. A case is quickly made against Alec and he is arrested. Still, Tessa has her doubts. Could the man she’s come to care for really be a serial killer? Told from both Alec and Tessa’s viewpoints this is a Did he?  or Didn’t he? story that had me flip-flopping all through the book.  A fine effort with plenty of surprises
