Sarah Booth Delaney believes that archaeologist Frank Hafner is a good guy and doesn’t believe he could have killed a member of his dig crew, especially in such a gruesome way. Yes, the good doctor is handsome and flirty, but that doesn’t make him a killer.  After being brought in for question by the local sheriff (Sarah Booth’s boyfriend), Frank hires Sarah to investigate the murder. Lots of suspects, the possibility of an Indian curse and Sarah Booth’s parade of unusual, but lovable friends and animals make this another thoroughly enjoyable addition to a series I never tire of
