Quiet Neighbors by Catriona McPherson. Published by Midnight Ink

Jude’s life has imploded and she needs to escape so she packs up and heads to a town where she was happy, a town filled with bookstores. Lowell owns a bookstore that seems to have no obvious filing system, but that just makes it seem like a place full of treasures just waiting to be discovered. Lowell needs someone to help him run the store, Jude needs a job and a place to stay. It seems they have found solutions in each other. Granted, a grave diggers cottage might not be Jude’s first choice for a place to live, but it’s her only choice. The rent is cheap and the neighbors won’t keep her awake, right? Maybe, maybe not. Books and ghosts? A cemetery and a bookstore? I knew I would love this book from the description and when I saw that Catriona McPherson was the author, I knew I was in for a treat. This is a story to savor in front of the fire with a hot cup of tea. Highly recommended
